How to arrive

To visit the archeological site of the Port of Traiano (the basin itself is private and not open to tourists) you can either book a place at the Roman Ship Museum or just turn up at the site on the day for guided tours organized by the Archeological Superintendent of the museum itself.
The Roman Ship Museum is situated close to Fiumicino Airport, in Via Guidoni 35, just before the airport for those coming from Ostia and just after for those coming from Rome.
