In 1935 the constitution of the association, now named "Associazione Nazionale Carabinieri in Congedo" (Retired Carabinieri National Association) was finally established, after having further collected and changed the associative and structure elements of the statute articles.

When many Carabinieri military men were called up again during the Second World War, the already ties between the active service arm and the retired one were reinforced, so that the preliminary changings of the future association were placed, representing both the elements.

A decree was issued by the President of the Italian Republic (Decree No. 1286 dated 25 July 1956) in 1956, when the new and still in force Cadre Constitution of the association, now finally named "Associazione Nazionale Carabinieri", passed.
