In 1993 a protocol accordingly to the Ministry of Cultural Goods was subscribed, for constituting groups of Volunteers to the surveillance in the museums. The group named VVM has been founded, and it already represents an important institution almost all over the country. Another according protocol was subscribed in 1994, together with the Under-secretary of the Civil Protection, for keeping watch and being on the alert on woodland fires. The agreement now includes the preventing and control of the natural and human accidents. Many are the agreements which has been subscribed together with the local public administrations, for the surveillance in front of schools, and in parks, as well as for the assistance in special events, in hospitals, for the handicapped people, old or ill people; the ambulance service aid is also required, etc. A new project for the environment protection and the relative laws observance is in progres, which will be named "Nucleo Operativo Ecologico dell'Arma".
